Successful coordination visit in the venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships in Ho Chi Minh City
The Executive Director of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov has done the important coordination visit in the venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Women’s Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The continental event will be held in November and the LOC works together with ASBC for the success of the competition.
President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of AIBA Mr. Serik Konakbayev is expecting highest level of organization, hospitality and record number of female boxers in the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships. Mr. Konakbayev believes that new names will be shining in the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships from the Southeast Asian region.
Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov visited the main venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships in Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Turekhanov was accompanied by Supervisor of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships Indonesia’s Mrs. Shelly Miranda during the negotiations in Ho Chi Minh City.
The delegation visited all hotels where the AIBA/ASBC officials, ITOs, Referees & Judges, coaches, athletes and accredited media members will be accommodated in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation had negotiations with all important members of the Boxing Association of Vietnam during the official Coordination visit including the President of the Southeast Asian country Mr. Tran Minh Tien.
The venue of the competition will be Nguyen Du which is a perfect place for such a huge boxing event as the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships where the number of the seats, the lighting, the services, the facilities and the whole environment could be delivered a remarkable competition in November.
Vietnam hosted the 2005 edition of the Asian Boxing Championships for the men’s elite boxers and the boxing tournament of the 2009 Asian Indoor Games and after a long hiatus a big event will return to the country in November. Vietnam’s women’s boxing life highly developed in the recent five years and the Southeast Asian country is expecting good results in their big female elite competition. The upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships will be the best way to promote boxing in Vietnam.
