Mr. Sukku Kang passed away

On behalf of the Asian Boxing Confederation President Mr. Serik Konakbayev would like to inform all boxing friends South Korea’s boxing official Mr. Sukku Kang passed away at the age of 65 this morning.
Mr. Sukku Kang’s unexpected death was a deep shock for not only to the whole Asian boxing family but also to the world. The entire boxing family lost one of its great person who served our beloved combat sport in the recent decades.
Mr. Sukku Kang was the Chairman in the Refereeing & Judging Commission of the Asian Boxing Confederation and worked as Supervisor in the international competitions. Mr. Sukku Kang was the Deputy Supervisor of the 2016 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Pavlodar which was his last main international competition in our continent. Mr. Kang also worked as instructor in AIBA Refereeing & Judges Courses in various countries in the Asian continent.
