AIBA Women’s Junior World Champion Nadezhda Ryabets wins in the Khayrutdinov Tournament in Almaty

The traditional and prestigious Mengerey Khayrutdinov Tournament was held for the women’s youth and junior boxers in the former capital city of Kazakhstan in Almaty. The top female talent of the country such as Vladislava Kukhta, Leila Khusainova, AIBA Junior World Champion Nadezhda Ryabets and Dina Islambekova all won their weight classes in the strong competition.
Almaty hosted the 2013 edition of the AIBA World Boxing Championships and the AIBA Academy is also located near to the city in the mountains. Boxers who were born in 1999 and in 2000 were eligible to compete in the youth part of the Khayrutdinov Tournament in Almaty which is the age group of the 2017 year but Kazakhstan Boxing Federation decided to give the chance for those ladies. The 2001-2002 were born boxers could attend in the junior part of the Khayrutdinov Tournament in Almaty.
Ayzhan Madibek competed in the last edition of the Nations Women’s Junior Cup in Serbia and had a few experiences but she was not the favourite at the youth light flyweight (48kg). The 16-year-old talent defeated Children of Asia Games winner Anar Kozha in the quarter-final of the event which was one of the biggest surprise of the Khayrutdinov Tournament. Madibek continued the winning path in the tournament and controlled her final against Dzhambul region’s Ayman Karshyga.
Zhazira Urakbayeva was amazing in the recent three tournaments in Kazakhstan and proved her talent in the Khayrutdinov Women’s Tournament as well. The 17-year-old boxer defeated Aida Kozhan of Almaty region in the final of the flyweight (51kg) while strong Diana Keilman claimed only bronze medal this time.
National team member Vladislava Kukhta is a well-known name in the international level who achieved top results already in 2015. The Golden Gloves of Vojvodina Women’s Tournament winner 17-year-old talent was in different level than his rivals and controlled all of the rounds in the final against Zhansaya Baltabekova.
Zhanna Serikova competed also in the last edition of the AIBA Women’s Junior World Boxing Championships in Taipei as Vladislava Kukhta. The 17-year-old boxer delivered a small surprise in the Khayrutdinov Tournament in Almaty where she was able to beat the favourite Adelya Dyusenbayeva in the final of the youth lightweight (60kg).
Dzhambul region’s AIBA Women’s Junior World Boxing Championships silver medallist Leila Khusainova was amazing against Marzhan Yeseken in the final of the light welterweight (64kg) and won her next title in a strong competition. The 17-year-old talent is Kazakhstan’s next great future hope in the women’s part of boxing.
Kostanay’s pride Nadezhda Ryabets delivered amazing performance in the 2015 AIBA Women’s Junior World Boxing Championships in Taipei where she won the gold medal in her weight class. The 17-year-old welterweight (69kg) boxer had better punches than Saltanat Yestayeva in the final of the Khayrutdinov Tournament and won her category in Almaty.
Guzal Sadykova is an experienced boxer in the junior level but she was able to get her first youth title at the middleweight (75kg) in Almaty. Dzhambul region’s 17-year-old Araylym Begdilda is the defending champion in the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth National Championships therefore her success was not a surprise in the event.
Dina Islambekova was silver medallist in the AIBA Women’s Junior World Boxing Championships in Taipei and short after her 16th birthday she was able to win the youth heavyweight (+81kg) in Almaty. Her final opponent was Nadira Maratova who claimed gold medals in several international events therefore their bout was one of the most spectacular one in the former capital city of Kazakhstan.
The junior boxers also delivered strong performance in the Khayrutdinov Tournament and some of them are great future hope not only in Kazakhstan but in the world as well. One of the best Kazakh junior boxer Karina Ayzakhmetova won the gold medal in the Kazakh Women’s Junior National Championships and did her very best in the final of the junior light flyweight (48kg) against Bakhytkul Baybekova.
Following her bronze medal in the Kazakh Women’s Junior National Championships Anel Kudaybergen moved up to the flyweight (50kg) and her efforts were enough to win the final against Almaty region’s Laura Kadyr. Experienced junior boxers such as Dinara Zinullina (54kg), Aizhan Nurmagambet (57kg), Mariya Gladkova (60kg), Maiya Beysebayeva (63kg) and Zhamilya Bolat (66kg) also shined in the Khayrutdinov Tournament.
