The ASBC updated its 2025 Competition Calendar
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation updated its 2025 competition calendar and it was officially issued in all communication channels.
The competition calendar contains Asian events for both genders and all of the age groups to the elites, U22, youth, junior, schoolboys and schoolgirls as well.
The IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships will be held in Nis, Serbia on March 6-17 and many of the Asian top girls have the chance to earn medals in the event.
Sri Lanka’s capital city Colombo will host the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships for the first time on May 10-24 this year. The team delegation’s handbook of the championships will be revealed soon but Sri Lanka is ready to arrange a historic competition for the best of the Asians.
The next edition of the IBA Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships will take place end of May and beginning of June according to the current plans and the event to be confirmed as soon as possible.
The ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships will feature in the month of June and negotiations are in progress with the possible host country. The 2009 and 2010 born boxers are eligible to participate in the junior part of the competition and the 2011 and 2012 born pugilists will compete among the schoolgirls and schoolboys.
The month of August is the selected date of the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships this year and the venue to be confirmed soon.
The Asian Youth Games moved from Uzbekistan’s capital to Bahrain and its new date is October 22-31. The Asian Cup with a Referee & Judge Course will take place in November and to be confirmed in the upcoming weeks.
One of the multisport events, the exciting Southeast Asian Games will close the year on December 9-20 and its boxing events will be held in the Huamark Stadium in Bangkok.
