Our legend, Lennox Lewis delighted the finals of the 39th Boxam Tournament

The 39th edition of the Boxam Elite Tournament was a memorable event for all of the medallists and champions in La Nucia, Spain as one of the all-time best boxers, the British-Canadian Mr. Lennox Lewis, presented the medals.

Seven of the Asian male boxers earned gold medals at the male finals of the Boxam Tournament in La Nucia, Alicante region, Spain where 17 countries and 166 boxers fought for the titles and prizes.

The special VIP guest of the finals of the Boxam Tournament was Mr. Lennon Lewis, the legend of the super heavyweight and the iconic professional World Champion who is also a gentle person and the supporter of our sport worldwide.

Lennox Lewis, who took up boxing at the age of 13, represented Canada as an amateur boxer and he earned a gold medal at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games and also at the Edinburgh 1986 Commonwealth Games. The super heavyweight boxer was Junior World Champion in 1983 as well and he was two-time North American Champion in 1985 and in 1987.

He had 44 professional contests between 1989 and 2003, among them he won 41 bouts, lost only two, and one of them was a draw against another legend Evander Holyfield. Mr. Lennox Lewis hold the WBC, WBA and IBF super heavyweight professional titles through several years.

His presence at the Boxam Elite Tournament delighted the final bouts and made the international competition one of the highest ranked events in the globe this year.
