The fans in Khorgos City followed brilliant finals with successes of the Xinjiang region

The management of China’s boxing hosts two events in the same time under the umbrella of the 2nd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival and the first competition has just finished in Khorgos City.

The official and full name of the competition is the Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Gala and Sports Lottery Cup, Xinjiang, China International Boxing Invitational. The Chinese Boxing Federation, the Xinjiang Boxing Federation and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Municipal Government are the organizers of the Festival.

Altogether 30 youth girls, 43 youth boys and 44 elite men boxers are participating in Urumqi, representing 12 teams and less boxers competed in Khorgos City but the quality was top one. China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Chinese Taipei, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan are the attending nations in the event.

The Instructor of the R&J Seminar, Mr. Ray Silvas worked there in the event as a Technical Delegate in Khorgos City which is located near to the boarder of Kazakhstan.

A Chinese youth girl, Tang Xuan won the first contest of the third session in Khorgos City at the women’s bantamweight (54kg). Further Chinese national team members such as Zhang Hanrui (54kg), Maierlan Yesihati (60kg), Refukaiti Rehemanjiang (75kg) and Sardar Ahati (80kg) won the next weight classes in the youth part of the competition.

Kyrgyzstan’s two-time World Championships quarter-finalist Sanzhai Seidakmatov eliminated strong rivals in Khorgos City and he walked over to the title of the men’s featherweight (57kg).

Yibulayimu Mamuti is one of the boxing prides in the Xinjiang region with international experience but his success over the Asian Games quarter-finalist Wang Xiangyang was a small surprise at the light welterweight (63.5kg).

Tajikistan’s Bakhtiyor Mirzomukhammadi worked well in the entire competition in Khorgos City but he suffered a loss in the final of the light heavyweight (80kg) to China’s Zhan Haojie which was the tightest contest in the entire third session.

Xinjiang region’s outstanding Aizihaier Tuohongdaji claimed the title of the heavyweight (92kg) after beating Kazakhstan’s 21-year-old Madi Amirov in the next brilliant final of the Belt & Road Festival.

China’s super heavyweight (+92kg) No.1 and Xinjiang’s sensation, Danabieke Bayikewuzi was near to qualify for the Paris Olympics but he returned in shape and he defeated Uzbekistan’s Arman Makhanov in the top final of the event.
