Following the official approval, the Asian Boxing Confederation Welcomes Team Ukraine with open heart in the upcoming championships

The Secretary General of the Asian Boxing Confederation, Mr. Ali Salameh announced that Team Ukraine will be able to competing at the forthcoming ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from August 27.

The Asian Boxing Confederation’s motto is that “Together We Are Power” and are welcoming everyone in Asia to participate in the highest level of boxing to compete against the best of the bests. The Asian Boxing Confederation support all of the athletes in the world and we believe the most important factors are our boxers.

The ASBC Board of Directors accepted the participation of the Ukrainian junior, schoolgirls and schoolboys boxing teams in the upcoming competition. It was made as per the Article No. 28.1/Y which allows the ASBC Board of Directors to make such decisions which was not covered by the constitution and the regulations. This is an exceptional decision for this championship.

Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, the President of the Asian Boxing Confederation is grateful that the Ukrainian team will be able to participate in our championship and he is expecting record number of boxers in the United Arab Emirates. The ASBC President believes in the right of the boxers to participate in our championships and show their skills especially in these important age groups.

The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation has been supporting the Ukrainian boxers in this event. This decision was announced in the favour of the Ukrainian boxers without any political consideration.

The upcoming ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships will be held in Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates between August 27 and September 10. The registrations for the championships are in progress through the new link: https://asbc-boxing.com/LOGIN     

The 2008 and 2009 born boxers will be able to compete at the junior age group in Al Ain, UAE. Boxers who were born in 2010 and in 2011 will be eligible to participate in the schoolboys and schoolgirls competition.
