Thirteen countries are already on the board at the next 24th Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament but the registrations are still open
The next 24th edition of the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament will be held for the 17 and 18-year-old talents in the city of Kostanay, North Kazakhstan between July 15 and 21.
The Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament is a strong men’s youth international competition, which was named by Mr. Ural and Mr. Korgan Aitenov.
European boxers are also planning to join the competition to the upcoming Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament next to the top Asian nations.
Afghanistan, Egypt, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, host Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Yemen are already registered to the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament.
The Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament is stronger every year and the local organizers are still expecting further registrations to the event.
The Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament will be a perfect option for those who are planning to prepare for the upcoming Youth World Boxing Championships.
The city of Kostanay is located in the Northern part of Kazakhstan and hosted several strong boxing events in the recent more than one decade including national, international and regional competitions.
The head of the local organizers, Mrs. Svetlana Mahleyt will arrange all of the tournament programs, the support of the teams and other organizational matters as in the previous years.
Boxers who were born in 2006 and in 2007, are eligible to participate in the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament in July.
The international youth competition will be held in all of the 13 official male weight classes at the 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg and +92kg.
After five days of boxing, thirteen winners earned their titles at the 23rd edition of the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament in Kostanay one year ago. The top Kazakh stars of the competition such as Bek Zholdasbek, Adaybek Niyazbay, Nurbek Mursal, Islam Sovetov, Daulet Tulemissov and Nurzhan Duman all won their weight categories in Kostanay in 2023.
