Kazakhstan will host more than 70 competitions in 2024

The management and the staff of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation issues its 2024 National Boxing Calendar this week which contains more than 70 competitions.

Kazakhstan’s capital, the busy Astana hosted the last edition of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships and the boxing power is ready to be one of the leaders in 2024 as well.

Kazakhstan will host the Women’s World Boxing Championships in 2024 and the planning date is end of September and beginning of October.

Kazakhstan’s main elite international competition, the Elorda Cup will be held in the month of June and it could be a preparation event before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The regions in Kazakhstan are all active to host competitions including the cities of Turkestan, Karagandy, Atyrau, Aktau, Shymkent, Astana, Kostanay, Almaty, Taldykorgan, Kyzyl-Orda, Taraz, Petropavlovsk, Aktobe, Pavlodar and others as well.

Among the well-known elite international tournaments in Kazakhstan, the Nurmagambetov Memorial will be held in Turkestan on April, the Vakhitov Tournament in Pavlodar on June, the Shokhr Boltekuly Memorial in Aktau on September, the Abdaliyev Memorial in Shymkent on October and the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial in Karagandy on December.

Among their youth competitions, the Bekzat Sattarkhanov International Memorial, the Zhetysu Cup, the Aitenov Brothers Memorial, the Serikov Memorial, the Safin Memorial and the Khayrutdinov Youth Memorial Tournament are all on the schedule in 2024.

The Galib Dzhafarov Prizes International Tournament open the year for the junior boxers this March, which will follows the Miroshnichenko Memorial, the Dildabekov Prizes, the Serik Sapiyev Prizes and the Sagyntayev Junior Memorial.

Their Elite National Championships, the Youth National Championships, the Junior National Championships are all planning to be hosted in the end of the year. Their Schoolboys and Schoolgirls National Championships both are on the agenda this April.
