ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira and the ASBC management send their sincere condolence to Neeta Gosain’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira of Thailand, furthermore the whole ASBC Management send their sincere condolence to Neeta Gosain’s family following the Nepali female boxer passed away this week.

Mrs. Neeta Gosain competed already at the 2015 Nepali Women’s National Selection Tournament in Kathmandu which was one of her first main events during her career. The flyweight boxer was tried to qualify for the 2021 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships but she lost to one of the local stars.

She moved up to the bantamweight (54kg) last year and she earned a silver medal at the 2023 Prakash Dahal National Memorial Tournament in Nepal which was her last achievement in our beloved combat sport.

She was 27-year-old when she passed away and the Boxing Family will never forget her positive attitude to the sport.

May her soul will rest in eternal peace in Nepal.
