The deadline for the registrations to the Olympic Dreamer Tournament & Training Camp is January 20
The registrations for the upcoming Olympic Dreamer Tournament have been extended up to January 20 and the visa applications could be filled until January 15. The local organizers are expecting record number of countries and participants before the first main event of the year, the World Olympic Qualifier.
The Olympic Dreamer Tournament and the International Training Camp will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina between February 12 and 28.
A new short video about the competition and its promotion has been uploaded to the new website of the Olympic Dreamer Tournament: www.odboxing.com.
Their website contains also several further information such as the handbook, the introduction of the event, the competition schedule, contact details and other videos about Sarajevo and the Olympic Dreamer.
The date of the international competition is February 12-18 and their training camp will follows that from the 18th until the 28th. Mr. Adnan Pasic, the local organizer, is waiting for teams from all around the globe as last time before the Mustafa Hajrulahovic Memorial.
Bosnia & Herzegovina was busy with international competitions in 2023 and the country will host several events this year as well.
After the Bocskai Memorial Tournament, the Golden Girl Cup, the Boxam Tournament, the Nations Women’s Cup and the Strandja Memorial Tournament, the last preparation competition before the 1st World Olympic Qualifier will be the Olympic Dreamer Boxing Tournament & Training Camp.
The 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event will take place in Busto Arsizio, North Italy between February 29 and March 13 therefore the event in Sarajevo could be a top opportunity for all nations to finalize their preparations.
The women boxers will be able to compete in the six Olympic weight categories in Sarajevo: 50kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 66kg and 75kg.
The male boxers will compete in their seven official Olympic weight classes in Bosnia & Herzegovina’s capital city: 51kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 71kg, 80kg, 92kg and +92kg.
Sarajevo is the city of the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, the city of sports and the city of boxing. The competition venue is the Hotel Hills Sarajevo Congress and Termal Spa Resort which is located in a fantastic environment.
