The Sports Authority of India is looking for a new High Performance Director to the NCOE in Rohtak
The Sports Authority of India for the development of National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) is looking for a new High Performance Director to the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex which is located in the city of Rohtak. The new High Performance Director will lead the program of the boxers to achieve success for the talented boxers who train in Rohtak.
Among then key roles one of the most important ones to create short and long term strategies for the Indian boxers. Plan and monitor the annual calendar, identification for trainings and competitions, manage the talent programs, smooth transition of the boxers to the to the elite age group, injury management and develop the skills of the domestic coaches are the further responsibilities.
Master’s degree or above in the sport coaching, sport science and general management must need to fulfil the job in Rohtak. The experience of working as a coach or high performance director with junior or youth boxers is also essential. The leadership, the decision-making skills, the flexible working, proficient in latest scientific methodology and the good English communication skills are the further requirements in this job.
Those who are 3-star IBA coaches, have the understanding of long-term athlete development programs and has prior experience as a boxer at the international level, are further advantages to get their applications to India.
