Training camp set before Women’s World Championships in New Delhi
An international training camp will be held prior to the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships 2023 in New Delhi, India on March 14-26.
The camp is scheduled on March 3-12 at the Boxing Training Hall of the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex.
Deadline of registration is on February 5.
Accommodation including three meals costs 95 USD per person in a twin room and 120 USD for a single room.
Local transportation from the airport to the hotel and going to the training center will be shouldered by the Boxing Federation of India.
The first competition day of the championships is on March 16 while the finals are slated on March 26 at the K.D. Jadhav Indoor Hall.
New Delhi already hosted the Women’s World Championships twice – in 2006 and 2018. India’s icon Mary Kom is the only female fighter to win six world titles, including two on home soil, and the only boxer to cop seven medals in the world tilt.
