Tajikistan hosted a National Referee & Judge Course before their Youth National Championships

The Tajikistan Boxing Federation held a National Referee & Judge Course before the start of the Tajikistan Youth National Championships in the city of Kulob which is located in the southern region of the country in the Khatlon region. The educational program is the new activity of the Tajikistan Boxing Federation to build up new generations of referees and judges who can support their events in the future.

Mr. Mansur Mukhiddinov is Tajikistan’s lone AIBA 3-star Referee & Judge who worked already in AIBA and ASBC Boxing Championships as well. As a boxer, he claimed gold medal at the 1995 Tajikistan National Championships as the age of 18 and competed also at the Tashkent 1999 Asian Boxing Championships. Mr. Mansur Mukhiddinov is one of the Instructors of the Tajikistan National Referee & Judge Course in Kulob.

Mr. Akmal Abdullaev is AIBA 2-star Referee & Judge who also worked in several ASBC events and international tournaments including the Fujairah 2019 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships. As a boxer he claimed silver medal at the bantamweight (54kg) in the 2005 Tajikistan National Championships. Mr. Abdullaev was the Supervisor of the Tajikistan Schoolboys National Championships last month and will be supporting the National Referee & Judge Course as Instructor.

The number of the participants in the National Referee & Judge Course is 16 in Kulob and all of the attendees receive world class theoretical and pragmatic lesions from the experienced national instructors. The National Referee & Judge Course was organized by the two Instructors and the Secretary General of the Tajikistan Boxing Federation, the young and energetic Mr. Komron Fayzov.

The new edition of the Tajikistan Youth National Championships for their male and female hopes was held in the city of Kulob and record number of female boxers attended in the event. Tajikistan’s next generation in the youth age group contains high number of fantastic talents therefore their next international events could be delightful.  

Boxers who were born in 2002 and in 2003 were eligible to attend in the Tajikistan Youth National Championships from all regions of the country which could support the development of these 17 and 18-year-old boxers to increase their number of bouts and experiences in the ring.
