ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champions as Umidillo Abdurasulov and Boburbek Bobojonov will be boxing for the title at the Uzbekistan Junior National Cup

The Uzbekistan Junior National Cup for their next generation turned to its final phase in Tashkent where the exciting semi-finals were on the official program. ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champions as Umidillo Abdurasulov and Boburbek Bobojonov will be boxing for the gold medal in the top final of the Junior National Cup.

The Uzbekistan Junior National Championships was held in Tashkent on October 2020 and their new event the National Cup for the age group is the next activity in the boxing power. Many of the ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champions attends in the Uzbekistan Junior National Cup in Tashkent where the venue is the Universal Sport Complex.

Boxers who were born in 2005 and in 2006, are eligible to attend in the Uzbekistan Junior National Cup. Besides to the official 13 junior weight classes in the international stage, two more categories have been added to the official schedule of the Uzbekistan Junior National Cup. These were the additional 42kg and the 44kg weight classes which meant that 15 champions will be crowned in the finals.

Bukhara’s Junior National Cup silver medallist 15-year-old Mirali Mavlonov won the Junior National Championships on October and he moved up to the 44kg weight category. He succeeded in the semi-finals and will be meeting for the gold medal with Javokhir Koysinov in Tashkent.

Ferghana’s ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Khumoyunmirzo Abdurasulov achieved only bronze medal in the Junior National Championships on October but his time he proved even better performance and remained his gold medal chance alive. The 15-year-old promising boxer will be boxing for the gold with Bukhara’s Bekzod Tolibov at the pinweight (46kg).

Tashkent region’s two top boxers will be boxing for the gold medal of the light flyweight (48kg), Sayat Ilyasov and Sunnatilla Uktamaliyev. Abdullokh Madaminov defeated Tashkent region’s Shokhrukh Abdumalikov in the title bout of the flyweight (50kg) at the Junior National Championships in October and the two boxers advanced to the finals once again.

Uzbekistan’s best boxer at the 2006 age group Farrukh Tulaganov of Kashkadarya dominated all of his contests during his road to the final of the light bantamweight (52kg) where his last challenge has been scheduled against Bukhara’s Asadbek Rajabov. Javokhir Ummataliyev and Andizhan’s Mukhammadazizbek Ismoilov impressed in the semi-finals of the bantamweight (54kg) and will be meeting each other for the title.

Andizhan’s ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion 15-year-old Umidillo Abdurasulov won the Junior National Championships in October and since then he moved up two categories to the featherweight (57kg). Abdurasulov will be meeting in one of the most anticipated contests of the whole event with another ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion, Khorezm’s Boburbek Bobojonov in Tashkent.

ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Lazizbek Tulkinov claimed silver medal in the final of the featherweight (57kg) in October and remained his chance alive to get the gold in the Junior National Cup. The 15-year-old boxer eliminated his main rival ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Jakhongir Narziev in the semi-final and he needs only one further step to be crowned against Bunyodjon Amirov.

Namangan’s Junior National Champion Fazliddin Erkinboyev advanced to the final of the light welterweight (63kg) once again but this time his last rival will be Bukhara’s Bekhruzbek Toshev. Navoy’s ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Mizrob Nekboyev moved up to the light middleweight (70kg) but advanced to his next final in Tashkent where he will now meet with Andizhan’s Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov.
